Digital Vault Mobile App

The Digital Vault mobile app allows you to choose how often you want to back up the content of your device, daily, weekly, monthly or manually to the Digital Vault cloud and to set up automatic backups with easy to use setting options. The mobile app allows you to restore any content you have on the Digital Vault Cloud to your mobile device and to view and manage all your content using the Digital Vault web app.

The Digital Vault web app opens your entire content collection on the Digital Vault cloud in a web browser. Use the web app to view and manage your mobile content, social media content and cloud accounts’ content. The Digital Vault web app on superdrive.dvaultsol.com is accessible from the Digital Vault mobile app and from any mobile and desktop web browsers.

Digital Vault mobile app

1. How do I start an immediate backup of my mobile device content?

Start an immediate backup of your mobile device content to your Digital Vault cloud account:

  1. Select the Back Uptab on the Digital Vault mobile app home screen.
  2. Tap Back up now to begin your backup.
  3. The Backup progressscreen displays the list of content types being backed up with the status icon for each content type during the backup process.
    1. Backed up: Successfully backed up content types show a blue circle with blue check mark.
    2. Stopped: Content types that did not get backed up show a red circle with exclamation mark.
  4. The Backup Reportis displayed when the backup is completed.
  5. Tap Closeto return to the home screen.
  6. Stop backup: Tap on the Stopbutton to stop the backup while in progress.
  7. Backup notifications: On Android devices
    A notification appears on your mobile device while a backup is running. The notification displays the backup progress bar.

2. How do I set up automatic backups of my mobile device content?

Set a schedule for automatic backups of your mobile device.

  1. Tap Next backup on the Back up The screen displays the date and time of your next mobile device backup.
  2. Alternatively, tap Backup schedule on the Settings
  3. Backup frequency: Select one of the options to change the frequency of the automatic backups: daily, weekly, monthly, No auto backup/never.
  4. Backup Time: Set the backup time for your daily, weekly or monthly backups.
  5. Backup day: Set a day for your automatic backups.
  6. Backup date: Select a date for your monthly backups.
  7. Tap on the top < back arrow to save changes and to exit.

3. How do I restore backed up content to my mobile device?

Restore content from the Digital Vault cloud to your mobile device, including Android and iOS device backups and social media account backups (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram):

  1. Select the Restoretab on the Digital Vault mobile app home screen.
  2. TapRestore now to begin the restore process.
  3. Select a backup to restore from: Select one of the listed names to restore from and tapNext.
  4. Select content to restore: Select or deselect the content types you want and tapNext to restore the content to your phone.
    1. Content types to restore to Android devices:
      Photos, videos, music, documents, contacts, events, SMS, MMS, call Log, wallpapers.
    2. Content types to restore to iOS devices:
      Photos, videos, music, documents, contacts, events, SMS.
    3. Content types from your social media accounts:
      Photos and videos.
  5. The next progress screen displays the list of content being transferred with the status icon for each content type to show progress. You have the option to cancel anytime by tappingStop.
  6. TheRestore is complete screen appears when the transfer is finished. Tap Close to return to the Restore
  7. Stop restore: Tap on theStop button to stop restoring content while in progress.

1. How do I view my Digital Vault cloud content?

The Digital Vault web app opens your entire content collection in a web browser.

Use the web app to view and manage all your content sources, Android and iOS device backed up content, social media backed up content and linked cloud accounts’ content.

How to open the Digital Vault web app:

  1. On the Digital Vault mobile app: Select the Back Uptab on the home screen and then tap View Content to log into your cloud account automatically and to launch the web app.
  2. On mobile or desktop web browsers: Type https://superdrive.dvaultsol.cominto your mobile or desktop web browsers and sign in to open the Digital Vault web app.
  3. Scroll right or left to view all the content type tabs. Tap (click) on a tab to view your content sorted by content types: Photos, Videos, Documents, Music, Contacts, Events, SMS, MMS, CallLog and Posts.

2. How do I manage my Digital Vault cloud content?

Launch the Digital Vault web app where every piece of content from every device backup in your user’s account and social network backups can be accessed, viewed and managed in a single web interface. The content sources allow you to manage the content from every device backup and from your social networks backups and to also manage linked cloud content.

  1. On the mobile app: Tap Backup > View content to open the web app.
    On mobile or desktop web browsers: Type https://superdrive.dvaultsol.com
  2. The content source icons appear in the menu on a mobile web browser. They appear on the top left on a desktop web browser.
  3. Tap (click) on the Android or on the iOS connected content source button to view content source information, to hide or show the backed-up content or to delete the backup from the web app.
  4. Social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram):
    Tap (click) on the connected social media icon to view content source information, to hide or show the backed-up content, to update the backup or to delete the backup from the web app.
  5. Social media (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Photos):
    Tap (click) on the connected cloud account button to view content source information, to hide or show the linked content, to refresh the content and to unlink in order to remove the content source from the web app.

 

3. How do I back up my social media accounts?

Back up social media content from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to your Digital Vault cloud to view and to manage the content that you are keeping in these clouds:

  1. On the mobile app: Tap Backup > View content to open the web app.
    On mobile or desktop web browsers: Type https://superdrive.dvaultsol.com
  2. Tap (click) on the Menu button on the top left and then tap (click) on the Add [+] button.
  3. Open the Back up social media option to see the list.
  4. Tap (click) on the Add button next to an account name (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) and follow the prompts to log into it and start the backup.
  5. The checked icon indicates that the account is connected and backed up.

4. How do I link to cloud accounts?

Link cloud accounts to your Digital Vault cloud account to view and share using the Digital Vault web app. Cloud accounts include, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Photos.

  1. On the mobile app: Tap Backup > View content to open the web app.
    On mobile or desktop web browsers: Type https://superdrive.dvaultsol.com
  2. Tap (click) on the Menu button on the top left and then tap (click) on the Add [+] button.
  3. Open the Link Cloud accounts option to see the list.
  4. Tap (click) on the Add button next to an account name (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Photos) and follow the prompts to log into it.
  5. The checked icon indicates that the account is linked.

5. How do I share my media using the Digital Vault web app?

Share photos, videos, documents or music and post them on Facebook, Twitter, Email or share a link to the media:

  1. Tap Back up >View content on the mobile app or type https://superdrive.dvaultsol.cominto your mobile or desktop web browsers to open the Digital Vault web app.
  2. Tap (click) thePhotos, Videos, Documents or Music tab to view the files.
  3. Share:Select files(s), select Share and then select the app you want to use to share the media.
  4. Share with:
    1. Facebook: 
      1. Tap (click) Share with Facebook,select Continue to Facebook, log in and follow the prompts to post on Facebook.
      2. Facebook post:The new Facebook post includes a link to view shared Photos/Videos/Documents/Music on the Digital Vault web app.
    2. Twitter:
      1. Tap (click) Tweet, tap (click) Continue to Twitter, log inand follow the prompts to tweet to Twitter.
      2. Tweet: The new tweet includes a link to view shared Photos/Videos/Documents/Music on the Digital Vault web app.
    3. Email:
      1. Tap (click) Email, add recipient and use coma to separate emails, add a message and then tap (click) Send email.
      2. Email: The new email message includes a link to view shared Photos/Videos/Documents/Music on the Digital Vault web app.
    4. Get sharable link:
      1. Tap (click) Get sharable linkand then tap (click) Copy link to share it with anyone you want.
      2. Link: The link is directed to view shared Photos/Videos/Documents/Music on the Digital Vault web app.
